Hi, Bev: I read the “Grace & Maggie Across the Pond” Novella and enjoyed it so much that I thought my husband would also appreciate it. He agreed for me to read it to him, which I did — all in one sitting, while we sat in our “happy little lawn swing.” He also enjoyed the book as much as I did. Dona suggested I do a review on Amazon, which I did, and hope it helps spur along the purchases of any and all of your books. Would like to let you know we both thoroughly enjoy the humor with which you write. We see that on your website you invite folks to get acquainted with Jesus and want to tell you we appreciate that, and pray God will bless you in your endeavors of ministry.

Your spice cupboard makes me hang my head in shame. I once bought a book entitled “How to Tame the Paper Tiger.” It didn’t help much. I think one of the best pieces of advice I’ve ever heard regarding household organization was from the Flylady (sorry, I can’t remember her name right now): If you haven’t used something for a while, share with someone else and let them love it for a while.

Now, if you have any fun kitchen or serving stuff… (I’m such a kitchen junkie.)

I’m looking forward to seeing the $20 wall plate from RCA that plugs into a standard 2-jack power outlet, thus turning it into a one-outlet, 2 USB jack outlet for charging your devices. Very handy.

Joanne, I agree, someone’s recommendation means a lot, because we assume our friends and family know us well enough to understand our taste. Dona, I notice there are more and more contests. Have you been successful finding new authors that way?

And what about an author who changes their style? Does that bum you out when you buy a book and realize it’s different? Sometimes I try and read reviews, but often they are hard to determine BECAUSE we all have such different tastes. (And I won’t even go into Flame War Trolls.)
